Doors Open Denver (DOD), presented by the Denver Architecture Foundation, is one of Denver’s premier institutional arts and culture events of the year. On Saturday, September 22 and Sunday, September 23, attendees can see what’s on the horizon for Denver in design, architecture and urban planning as they explore the richness and history of Denver’s built environment. Guests can walk within neighborhoods such as Five Points and the Highlands which will feature a high concentration of sites. With support from the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation, DOD also will offer arts and culture activities throughout sites in the Five Points neighborhood.
Attendees are encouraged to explore these sites through free self-guided tours or by registering for a ticketed Insider Tour. Guided by architects, landscape architects, historians and urban enthusiasts who have special knowledge of Denver's neighborhoods and buildings, Insider Tours provide engaging opportunities to view areas of Denver buildings and locales not frequently open to the public. Tickets and additional information can be found at denverarchitecture.org.
