On Sunday October 15, at 3 pm, Annie and Marsh Barnette will present An Afternoon of Solo Violin and Piano. Following a highly successful performance last year, the duo was invited to perform again. This concert is part of the 2017-18 Confluence Tenth Anniversary Concert Series.
Marsh Barnette has spent his life as a piano performer, teacher and accompanist, including serving on the faculty of the Army School of Music before completing his degree in piano performance from the University of Kentucky. One of his early collaborations was accompanying his four-year-old daughter, Annie, as she began her study in violin. Annie recently earned her Masters in Violin Performance. They each perform around the city and have a variety of wonderful, lively music that they perform together. Their program will feature works by Bach, Chopin, Dvorak, Ravel, and Bartok.
Join us for their beautiful violin and piano music. The concert will take place at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 9200 W. 10th Ave., Lakewood. Presale tickets are $15 for adults; $12 for seniors and students; children under 10 are free. For more information or to order tickets, visit confluencehcoir.org or call 303-279-2932.
