Cars 'Cruise In' to Castle Rock

From newer Mustangs to older vintage cars, there was something for everyone at the 11th Annual Classic Rock Cruise In car show on June 15. The event usually takes place the day Saturday before Father's Day and fills downtown Castle Rock with more than 300 entries from car owners and clubs throughout the state.

Clay Tynan attended the 2019 event with his wife, Cami, and two children, Norah and Garrett. It was the Centennial family's first time attending Castle Rock's show. Tynan said the event did not disappoint.

“I've always heard this was a good one,” he said. “It's cool, it's a good show.”

The show is organized and produced by the Vintage Car Club and the Castle Rock Downtown Merchants Association. Proceeds are shared by both groups and a portion are donated to local charities and scholarships.
